Paragus specifically said ugoki ga mibui Oozaru no henshin which translates to "the giant monkey transformation with dull movement," which is basically calling it slow and uncoordinated.
It's lumbering. Like the English says. That's a good way to put it.

It's all how you interpret it. It's encumbering, not slow. It's sloppy, not sharp.

If it wasn't at a speed disadvantage compared to a fighter of equal power and humanoid size, there'd be no reason to use a word that specifically translates to "slow, dull."

Yeah I have no problem with it increasing speed compared to the base form, but it's definitely slower than the Ikari form used by Broly.

Well Oozaru still gets a massive speed increase. Perhaps it's not 1:1 with power though. It's definitely not just a power increase though.

I'll have to look into it more. But for me, as long as it doesn't slow up Ikari or Oozaru Fist Goku, I don't have any need to debate it more than that it does increase speed.

By how much, I don't know.

But you've made a good point I think. I'll look into it again later.

I feel like it was a mistake on Toriyama’s part to try and make power and speed discrete from each other. At a certain point physical strength stopped mattering once battle powers and ki became the central focus and I don’t see why speed would be different.
