More or less due to weakened Piccolo still seeming like the top dog despite being barely able to stand up. 10x may be pushing it, but I do think it's multifold. As for how he caught the punch.. did he actually catch it, or did Piccolo stop up?

No Kami caught Piccolos punch when Piccolo was still full power.

It's definitely not 10x.

Piccolo does one power up against Kami who has to consider it and ends up concluding that Piccolo is too much even for his normal body's full power.

Piccolo > Kami at this point isn't huge, probably 1.33-1.5

Piccolo and Goku both do a large power up after this, but no way is it a 10x boost man. You crazy.

Seems like an outlier feat to me.. despite blocking his blow at full power, kami + the Z Senshi were still outmatched by Piccolo's reserves. Perhaps I am crazy, but I don't see an issue with the big gap.

Initially it certainly wasn't 10x. Piccolo at his maximum, however, possibly. I also said the 10x was an exaggeration, multi-fold is how I see it though.

I'd say he's 3000 tops. The reaction to initial Nappa definitely wouldn't be such if Oozaru Gohan already dwarfed him at 7,000 or some bullshit.

Sure it strained him. He had to put all of his effort into blocking it with his hand. No damage, but a bit shaken up.

Tao Pai Pai's Dodonpa is able to push Goku and burn him.
Goku's KKx20 Kamehameha is able to burn Freeza.
Gohan's Masenko is able to burn Nappa's hand.
