It doesn't really matter what Herms says in his translation because the artwork clearly says otherwise.

We never seen what happened while they were inside Evil Boo, but we do know that when they defused, when went back down to their Super Saiyan transformation. There is no reason this wouldn't happen again. Additionally, they were unconscious, so they could have easily have grown worn out from the SSj transformation and eventually transformed back to normal.

The evidence shows that when people the transformation defuses, they revert back to Super Saiyans.

Also, Herms:

"Strong" modifies "comings out"; ie Piccolo is coming out in a strong way. Basically it's describing the change as Boo starts showing Piccolo's traits instead of Gotenks'. Which could be because of Piccolo's strength, but that line itself isn't talking about the "why" of what's happening, just describing what is happening.

And there is also the fact that South Kai was the strongest Kai inside Buu, but Buu still took over Dai Kaioshin, a weaker absorption, proves that not always the strongest is chosen inside Buu. Even if this silliness was true, it still didn't prove anything other than subjective evidence.

We saw Goten and Trunks inside Boo long, long after they originally defused. Evidence shows us that if they're in their Super Saiyan transformation than they immediately reverted back to their own individual Super Saiyan transformations.

Additionally, we aren't told that they improved a great deal individually, and we have implications that suggest Piccolo is regarded as being superior to either one of them based on Krillens opinion -this occurs after they transformed into Super Saiyans twice at the world martial art tournament, there is no reason to disregard his opinion.

We saw Goten and Trunks defusing long, long before they're absorbed by Buu and they are ON BASE.
The evidence that i posted above also disproves this even more.

In your scan, the boys reverted back to their Base form as Gotenks first, and then to their Base forms individually. It's not the same as reverting from Super Saiyan back down to Super Saiyan -and besides, it occurred inside Boo's body so who really knows? There are two opposing examples that contradict each other.

Your scan does not imply SSj Goten & Trunks being superior to Piccolo in any way shape or form.
