Was he really evil or just conflicted?

When I read the 23rd it seemed like he just wanted to carry Daimao's will. He wasn't as ambitious as his father, although he had a temper. Vegeta was a lot more psychotic during Saiyan and Freeza.

He would've killed all the people at the stadium, had Goku not interfrered. I think he started as evil as Vegeta, he just didn't
manage to kill stuff.

I don't treat Piccolo as Goku's true rival. Maybe because i watch dbz where Piccolo is Goku's friend.

Vegeta and Piccolo are both rivals IMO. Vegeta's rivalry is just more prominent.

Tenshithands was never a rival since he never surpassed Goku in power, not even in the 22nd. Fuck that idiot.

Piccolo was pretty evil prior to the time skip. Kami even remarks upon the change after raditz goes to the check in station.

I guess he just wasn't as evil as his father, as Goku said. And that's backed up by him not having as much ambition for taking over the world. I do think he was pretty conflicted though.

King Piccolo doesn't have any rival to worry sbout while Piccolo Jr have a rival to think about which makes him less evil don't ys think?
