Piccolo Not A Super Saiyan?

Piccolo is not all that far off from Trunks imo.

What are you talking about with the lack of reaction to his power? The second he clowned 20 from the start, Tenshinhan and Krillin looked shocked, and even Vegeta was taken aback by Piccolo's power.

I already had a drawn out debate on VoR on the whole "no one commenting on his actual Chi" not really meaning much. Trunks sensed and noted "Battle Chi" when Piccolo was tearing #20 apart. Thing is, Super Saiyan Vegeta was floating right there...aura and all. There's no reason to assume Vegeta has somehow suppressed his power when nothing gives us an indication that he can. Another thing that's clear is that the Super Saiyans still have an extremely high power even when they're not fighting. This only changed when Full-Power Super Saiyan was introduced. If anything, this just means Piccolo's actual Chi stood out more in comparison to idle Super Saiyan Vegeta's.

So overall, I don't think it proves anything.
