Piccolo's materialization ability

According to the Daizenshuu, Dragon-clan members have the ability to create objects out of thin air. Piccolo despite being a warrior-type have been shown to do this trick multiple times throughout the manga. What's the deal with that?

Along with the assumption that Piccolo inherited it from being the other half of Kami, it's also worth noting that Mazoku and other demonic entities have been shown to materialise items out of nowhere such as Akkuman with his pitchfork or Boo's abilities in general, so it could be in equal part due to his Mazoku affiliation.

Well Piccolo being half of Kami is the only explanation there is unless there's another Namekian who isn't from Dragon Clan can make object can contradict Daizenshuu.

There seems to be some contradictions within the Daizenshuu regarding Piccolo's ability to stretch his arms too, where D4 says it's a result of his demon heritage while D7 says it's an innate ability for Namekians.
