Piccolo must be on the same range Kuririn and Gohan were. Alone he's trash to Freeza, but if he teams up with everyone and/or use some trick, he can pull off a win.

Kami's power is irrelevant. Kami is half of a two-piece puzzle, the two pieces make one whole. That's all we're really given by the Elder Namek and that statement is referenced twice, once by Nail and once by Krillin. That's enough reinforcement for me.

The thing is, Piccolo's division was never implied to be in halves. If we compare the original two beings, God was much, much more powerful than King Piccolo, implying that the good in him was much greater than the evil in the earth.
Now I'm at home and can try to check the original source (and also a different catalan translation made for the colour edition) and I'll check to the extent of my abilities what's said in there.

Catalan 1s translation -translated to english-: "Aaaah!! Once he was invaded by the evil, he divided into two beings. He was a fool... in this way he also divided his huge talents... maybe if he had joined the two beings, like in his origins, he wouldn't have died..."

Catalan 2nd translation- "so that's what happened... it seems that in a given moment evil invaded him and he decided to divide in two...! What a fool... that also divided his talent in the same way... if they had re-joined maybe he wouldn't have died..."

The second translation seems to point towards this "half" thing (he divided into two... he divided his talent in the same way...) although considering the good part was much stronger than the evil part (in the original division at least) it's still unclear going by those translations if in the original the intention of the author was to say that his power effectively halved.

That being said, looking at what Nail says to him, there's no doubt that Piccolo had aquired an incredible power (at least incredible compared to Nail) during the days he trained with Kaito, which is much more than what I would have given him (to me, Piccolo should have been not much stronger than 20k at best). So yeah, him being 200k+ is a strong possibility and at least it doesn't contradict what's said in the manga like my stance on the subject. So this seems to be the better option in the end.

Unlike you, I have no problems in rectifying my stance on a given matter, and you know why? Because DB is just a fu***** manga I happen to like a lot, so if discussing with other people I happen to learn something new about it (even if I don't like it as much as what I thought it should be) I'm glad I had the chance.

Oh, don't take that "Son Goku" thing literally, it's just a way to exemplify your attitude and not meant to be precise about your real tastes.
Regarding the blocking thing, do whatever you like. As I told p123, if you can't accept different opinions it's the better stance because for every occasion where you may happen to be right (like in here) there will be at least 10 occasions where you'll be brutally owned like you were in the other thread about the base state limit.
You'll be happier only reading what you like and I won't have to invest my time trying to reason with an Evil Vegeta wannabe that's not even half as funny as the original (at least he tries to justify what he says even if he has to lie in the process. You on the other hand lack his imagination, and directly admit that you can't prove what you say but you still won't admit being wrong because I don't like being wrong mamaaaa help meee lol).

It's an idiom, not a transistor like for example, Herms. That being said, those translacions I'm speaking of are professional, not from fans, and pretty accurate when checked against Herms' un most of the cases.
I normally use Herms' or Viz to discuss un here, but since in this case I found Herms' translacions a bit weird I decided to check what was said in there as well.
