Not exactly, but for jobs, schools, health care, pretty much everything. Hell considering it's a society which has known Ghouls for a while, then it would be deemed acceptable to pull out their DNA. Japan's already crazy about blood types as it is. I don't even know why the society is so similar to ours.

Considering ghouls are disguised perfectly as humans, and there was a valid reason for lack of RC gates, I really dont see what solution there could be. From a story telling perspective itwould ruin the story to have ghouls be recognized instantly. I respectfully disagree with that point.

However, there are fundamental differences between ghouls and humans. Their genetic differences, how they behave, even with how their acting, it'll also be noticeable that there are a lot of disappearances happening. Another manga did the same relative concept of man eaters hiding among people, and even explored further how the world acted when they were found out, but they were still hidden at the end of the day, the manga is called Parasyte too.

A job interview asking for your genetic code wouldn't be too hard as well, the ghouls could just fake that. It would be a nice touch to see the author think of something like that.
