With all the advantages he had he still got wrecked pretty bad. Then again maybe it would've been a different story had Guts not been wearing that armor.

Guts was already considered the strongest man alive after the battle of Doldrey. Think of how much more insane he's gotten since then.. Serpico being able to last more than 1 second is really very impressive.
