After Guts and Zodd beat the Emperor everything just started to seem so fillery and boring lol even more so after the Emperor reincarnated himself again.

I wasn't a huge fan of it either but it's grown on me some. Ganishka's death was very necessary for advancing the plot tho, although I do think it was drawn out too much.
