Firstly, I already made it clear I believe that SS2 Vegeta > Kibitoshin, only that the evidence supporting it isn't absolute.
Secondly, if such a minor aspect of the Boo Arc is what constitutes as a "travesty", perhaps you ought to reevaluate your priorities when it comes to the Boo Arc. Kibitoshin and Vegeta clearly have completely different personalities when it comes to fighting stronger opponents and one has far better knowledge of Boo's power than the other. Kibitoshin > Vegeta, whilst somewhat off, is far from plot breaking or the peak of stupidity, unlike say, a 7 year old reaching MSSJ tier with regular training or two characters being able to become thousands of times stronger by doing a dance or wearing earrings.

Once again, you conveniently ignore my first point.

"Think of the fandom" is a worthless point. There's a comparable amount of Piccolo fans out there, yet that didn't stop Toriyama from implying poop like Shin could kick his ass. Not only that, but this isn't even Vegeta's peak in the manga, given his EoZ self is leagues stronger, so your point holds about as much weight as saying Toriyama needs to re-evaluate his priorities by making something just as impermanent as Trunks being weaker than a fat albino trashcan. Why not use that energy to criticise actual problems such as Goten/Trunks being CG Goku tier, or the implications of EoZ Pan > Good Boo, rather than the most minor of nitpicks?

And such is not what I'm doing, which you'd realise if you bothered to read what I said properly and seldom do I find anyone who cares just how strong Kibitoshin is compared to Vegeta in the slightest, especially when compared to actual major power topics of the series.
