I mean, if Piccolo was adamant that SSj Gotenks pre stood no chance against Super Boo, yet felt that Base Gotenks post could at least manage something, then I'm willing to trust him. It would just mean that Boo is way stronger than they thought, which is backed by Goku's comment on Boo's ki being like a lie.

Although I do agree that Base Gotenks pre's power is a little more up to interpretation, and that I'm fine with any placement between the SSj kids and SSj3 Goku.

Well, your question was answered. Do they have actual feats displaying they're Super Saiyan 3 tier? No. Gotenks does a Ghost Kamikaze attack and that's it.

Statements are just as important as feats, though. Mecha Freeza never showed anything remotely implying he was far more powerful than he was on Namek, but we take the statement to mean what it says. It shouldn't be any different here.

Excluding SSj post? Then no, unless you count Base Gotenks pre surviving Fat Boo as a feat.

Although Base Trunks is probably SSj3 tier+, seeing how he survived a hit from Super Boo.

No reason to include SSJ Gotenks Post since he has his battle against Super Buu, although the latter wasn't serious...I think?

We can't really count that if we go by the manga since we don't see the fight, for all we know Gotenks showed up and got sent flying in one hit from a casual Buu or Buu could've been totally serious and Gotenks managed to do something before losing

Sure, you don't have to put him at 530k then, but you do have to at least put him > 120k since he's stronger than Ginyu
