Chapter: 164, P6.6
Popo: “You try to see things with only your eyes, so you couldn’t see Popo’s movements just now. A person’s presence, faint movements of air, and one’s intuition. It’s not seeing, but sensing. This is vital.”

I know Goku displayed these skills during the 23rd Tenkaichi, but it's still amazing that these principles are still incorporated way after the fact.

It goes to show how much Goku learned from the teachings and experiences throughout his journey and how well he incorporated them when the situation required.

....And shows just how much of a giant, walking retcon Galu's character in Super is :troll

Well if it's any consolation, I think Gohan does something similar against Lavender in the Super anime.

And then what, 5 years (?) later Goku wasn’t even able to feel Moro draining both his and Vegeta’s ki? I love progression.

I’ve recently noticed that too. Cool to see even by the Boo Arc Toriyama hadn’t thrown away DB’s martial arts roots yet.
