Raditz comes onto Earth, it goes similarly as it did in the canonical timeline. However, Raditz when he takes Gohan doesn't bother staying on Earth and leaves immediately, maybe Gohan shows off his amazing potential which triggers the change. He doesn't find out about the Dragon Balls, and instead decides to train Gohan into a vicious warrior to help him take over the planet.

Would Goku train in the Room of Spirit and Time and follow? How would Piccolo react now that there's no reason for an alliance? What would happen if Goku left for space?

That depends on Gohan really. At least with Piccolo he was trying his best since his motivation was to save the Earth but training with Raditz would change everything. Raditz would probably just kill Gohan for not obeying him. :idk

Piccolo would have to train alone while Goku and Krillin goes to ROSAT to train would be the likely scenario IMO.

Also when you said that take over the planet are you referring the Earth?

Nah. Raditz mentioned a planet which was so powerful he decided he needed to take Goku to make it easier.

Scenario 1: Vegeta kills Gohan as soon as he sees his potential.

Scenario 2: Vegeta sees the brat's potential as a chance to fulfill the Super Saiyan prophecy and overthrow Freeza.
Over the years, he teaches him everything about Saiyans history, ways and pride. Considering his age, Gohan is
eventually brainwashed and forgets about Earth.
Back on Earth, Chichi holds Goku responsible for Gohan having been abducted and asks for a divorce. Goku starts
blaming himself, loses interest in life and becomes careless, so, at some point, Piccolo kills him with a special
beam cannon attack.
Piccolo takes over Earth. Even though he hasn't totally abandoned evil, because of his experiences so far, he's less
simple minded and one sided than his father, so, instead of just brainlessly causing havoc, he rules the planet as a
king with an iron fist. In the meantime, fearing that the Saiyans might return someday, he keeps training himself
and spawns warriors in order to have an army of defenders for the planet when that day comes.
The news about a possible future Saiyan attack are spread across the planet. Humans acknowledge the peril is more
urgent than their grudge against Piccolo, so they join the demons' army. So does Dr Gero; with Goku dead, he does
not want revenge and he acknowledges that, if Saiyans destroy Earth, there will be no world for him to conquer.
5 years pass. For plot sake, Gohan's power is at the hundreds of thousands.
One day, Freeza humiliates Vegeta by beating him up, in order to punish him for something he did wrong. Gohan
sees that scene and goes mad, his power briefly soaring to one million or so. He kills Freeza before the latter can
transform.
Icers' empire is replaced by Saiyans' empire and Vegeta becomes the emperor. Gohan doesn't kill him. Even though
he's brainwashed into evil, Vegeta is the only family he can remember of, the only person who showed him some
affection in the loveless world he has lived, so he remains loyal to his mentor.
Vegeta decides to attack Earth and collect Kakarrot so that one more Saiyan will be added to the empire and help
them remultiply their race. The empire is crushed by Earth forces: humans, the demons' army and Piccolo, who reveals
that he allowed Dr Gero to turn him into a cyborg.
Piccolo recognizes Goku's son. Gohan is crying, begging for his life. Humans realize this child is just a misguided soul,
that it's not his fault that he became evil. They plead Piccolo to spare his life. Piccolo decides to integrate him to his
army.
Peace is restored on Earth. Gohan becomes Piccolo's student and, eventually, unlocks Super Saiyan transformation.
7 years later, when Babidi appears, Kami senses the danger and guesses it's time he and Piccolo become one again.
With his new power, on top of him being a cyborg, Piccolo is a match for Dabura, but Babidi majinizes him.
Piccolo is not totally controlled by Babidi; he damages Gohan enough to give him energy to awaken Buu but, in the
end, refuses to kill his student. Buu awakens. Babidi's like 'if Piccolo doesn't take orders, I don't need him' and orders
Buu to kill him. Piccolo tries to defend Earth and dies in a way similar to Majin Vegeta.
Over the following 2 days, Gohan trains in ROSAT while Buu is having fun on Earth (he kills Babidi at some point during
those 2 days). When he gets out, he's unlocked SSJ2 and is as strong as his post Z sword self in canon. He starts fighting
Buu and holds his own. During the fight, he sees himself in the djinn; Buu is a lost soul as he used to be. Even though
he's angry at Buu for having killed Piccolo, he remembers that, himself, he had his second chance, so Buu deserves one
too.
Buu is convinced to change his ways and makes friends with Gohan, who becomes the new king of the planet. The series
ends with a scene of Goku and Piccolo sparring in Heaven and being happy that Gohan, whom both of them have been
fathers to, has found his inner peace.

Oh yeah that one. Still doesn't make any sense though. What kind of help Goku can give them with his BP less than 500? They could just a Saibaman instead. :idk

Great Ape, and Zenkai's would quickly put Goku above a Saibaman.

Gohan's upset nature unleashes his 710 level. Raditz then contacts Vegeta when seeing nothing else to do and when seeing his scouter is still functioning fine, sees Gohan really is that strong. He tells Vegeta about what happened and that Gohan will make a fine Saiyan. The two stop by another planet to wait for Nappa and Vegeta to rendezvous after completing their current mission. In that time, Raditz immediately starts training Gohan to tap into both his potential and a Saiyan's savage nature. This eventually leads to Gohan getting the rage boost to be on Raditz's level. With the different circumstances, however, Raditz doesn't kill him after it wears off due to Vegeta being able to deal with it. Raditz trains him much as Piccolo did, except in a far more punishing manner to completely sculpt Gohan's personality into what a Saiyan primarily is. We'll say it takes a month for Vegeta and Nappa to arrive, in which time Raditz has become a lot stronger from training and Gohan has learnt to tap into his power to the point his base level is above the 1k range. Impressed by Raditz's gains and him being able to mould Gohan into a fighter. They then head towards the planet they needed to conquer and quickly do so.

Meanwhile, Goku and the group ponder what to do. Travelling into space would be pointless when they didn't know where Raditz was heading and they couldn't use the Dragon Balls to teleport to Raditz when he could be in space and all it'd result in would be Goku's death. Bulma then comes up with the idea of Gohan still having the four star ball and starts work on upgrading the Dragon Radar to the point it can track Dragon Balls across the galaxy. We'll say this would take her a whole year, in which time Goku focuses purely on training with Piccolo in the event Raditz returns. Piccolo reluctantly agrees when seeing the bigger picture and the two train intensely. Meanwhile, Kami invites the humans to train as they did in canon.

Once the Dragon Radar is upgraded and Bulma can track Dragon Balls outside the Earth, Goku, Piccolo and the human fighters head out in a spaceship. However, they soon notice a peculiarity in there not being one Dragon Ball on another planet, but seven. Given the time it took Vegeta's pod to get to Namek from Earth compared to the other planet to Earth, it's safe to say Namek would be closer to Earth than the Saiyan gang would be. After a month, the group arrive on Namek and learn all about the Namekians. Each of them have their potential unlocked, making the same gains Gohan and Kuririn did. In other words, everyone (except maybe Chaozu) reach the hundred thousands after a few days and when finally tracking down the Saiyan group, not even their Oozaru forms are enough to take on Goku. He spares each of them, however, with Raditz in shock and awe revealing to him all about Freeza. Unfortunately, he'd forget to turn his scouter off, with Freeza becoming aware of the Saiyans moving against him. Freeza heads directly towards their location to take care of them.
Realising what will happen, Vegeta turns his scouter off and tells Raditz and Nappa to do the same, before saying everyone will need to evacuate the planet. Joining with the Z-Warriors out of necessity, the Saiyans train with them to be able to stand against Freeza and not be completely surpassed by mere humans. With multiple Zenkais and natural Saiyan potential, they soon catch up. The group train for another couple of months and when feeling ready to face Freeza, their combined power is enough to kill him before he can even transform. Goku then tries to take Gohan back, but Gohan has changed so much in personality and been become so attuned to life with his uncle that he refuses to do so. Goku then comes up with the idea to have the Saiyans make Earth their new home, so long as they don't harm the inhabitants.

Whether the Saiyan group choose to go with them or head into space to dominate the remaining Freeza Force members such as the Ginyu Tokusentai doesn't matter. Once Cold receives word that his son was killed, he'd head immediately to both the site of the battle and Earth to deal with those responsible. Without Super Saiyan, everyone is killed by Cold and the Earth is destroyed. Cold continues to rule the majority of the universe, unless the destruction of Earth awakens Boo. Power creep is a bitch.

Don't you think that, by the time Cold comes, at least one of the Saiyans is strong enough to unlock SSJ through a rage boost during that fight?

Cold asked Freeza why he didn't just blow the planet up from a distance, so it's clear he wouldn't mess around as Freeza did.
