I'm sure many of you will rank them the same way (some-wot), but here is my chain:
Dragon Ball > Dragon Ball Z >>> GT >>> Super.
Dragon Ball: 8/10.
Haven't watched this in a really long time, but from what I remember this show was pretty bitching and far better than anything after it. Fights seemed more skillful and less about power, and guys like Yamcha and Tenshinhan were actually interesting and relevant. Shame it's overlooked and will most likely never have any new content.
Dragon Ball Z: 7.5/10.
The original Funi dub is bad (Boo arc is pretty decent) but I love the story, the arcs, VAs, movies, pretty much everything about it. I dislike Freeza as a villain, and the whole Namek arc was uninteresting to me, but I enjoyed it overall. Sad that the humans are
now. Was quite fun seeing the Nameless Namek and Vegeta on top for a little while (Gohan too). I enjoyed that.
Dragon Ball GT: 5.5/10.
I haven't watched a whole lot, probably 24 or so episodes, bits and pieces on YouTube etc, and it's not all that great. Goku defeats like, literally every villain, despite the amazing cast of characters, (not counting Pan of course) and some of it's just trash, like Super 17 and Freeza and Cell (looked really weird). I like the idea of Bebi and the Shadow Dragons tho.
DRAWGON BALL SUPARAWR: 2.5/10.
Was thinking about making it 5, but the fact that it took two shitty films and watered them down really lowers it for me. Unlike DB and DBZ (GT too, to an extent) I cannot really watch Super for entertainment. I only really watch it when I'm bored, and even then it's a task. I haven't really kept up. I'm completely uninterested in U6 and it's fighters. I just don't give a fuck at this point. Had the U6 arc started ep 1, I'd probably love the series, but I had to sit through ~25 (I skipped ahead a little) episodes of watered down shite before I even got to see anything original, and at that point I was sad, mad and burned out. I saw BoG last year, and it was much better than the BoG Super arc. I think that's objective at this point. I read the FNF manga special and it was okay. I'm not sitting thru that movie or that fucking arc. I liked Vegeta's "moment" in FNF but that was it. I do like what I've read of the manga tho, I will say. It just ain't fun for me.
