Why did you rate DB and DBZ that low?

Same as what Zoro said. Compared to many other series, DB as a whole is mediocore from a critical standpoint and even from an entertainment standpoint, I find it to not fare much better. The DBZ anime also suffers heavily for multiple reasons, the most prevalent being filler often causing grave continuity problems.
