@Fantastische Hure answer that, I actually wanna kmow. I'm trying to remember of there was any any English in DB/Z was changed to another language in the dub. I think it would depend on what the purpose of the English is: is it to be foreign or specifically to be English or something associated with English? Like Sanji's French name attacks probably stay the same in French, because he cooks French food and France is known for haute cuisine.
I wonder this myself. Last time I was trying to look-up whether Sterben-Blade was kept the same in One-Piece german dub, especially because it’s not grammatically correct, but I couldn’t find a German-Dub video of Law doing the attack on YouTube.

Psycho-Pass: The Movie: 6/10

It was okay. Couldn't really get into the plot. The biggest highlight was terrorist Kogami.

You would need to watch the episode on watchen-einpiece.net

What made it better? Did Konami return?
It was a prequel to Season 1. The plot was about the backstory of one of the enforcers that is in season 2. But the movie focused a lot on Masaoka who really carried it. But yeah it had Kogami and the rest of the S1 enforcers.

I just realised I wrote Konami (the company who makes Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards l0l). Is Masaoka the person who hated-on his father initially?

Finished Iczer earlier this week. Always cool to see female characters fight and kick ass, but there were one too many tentacles, tits, and asses.

4-4.5/10 from me. May as well bring up Shadow Skill, too, which I watched through in November. I liked it until I realized it didn't actually star a female character. Felt way too much like it tricked you into thinking it starred one; it's just a typical shitty Shounen for teenage boys who fantasize about being strong and having hot girlfriends. 4/10

Serial Experiments Lain - 7/10

It keeps you thinking, and in some instances, re-evaluating what you previously concluded. There was enough variance for the audience to form interpretations, while giving clarity on the foundational elements it was going for along the way. Some of the earlier themes showed allegory to being behind the times, fear of missing out, and the curiosity and risks of extremely advanced technology. It later digs into the theme of sacrifice, and dormant power. Something that could have made it better is if Lain had more conversations with people in different science & tech fields, for more insight regarding the perspectives of Wired - the people she usually spoke to were kind of limited in their understanding and view of the Network. Also, the Knights plot was a little too hyped for the amount of focus it got and how it played out.

Psycho-Pass 3: 7/10

It's technically not over yet as there's a 3 episode special that finishes the plot, but up until now I'd give it a 6.5 or 7. My biggest gripe is that the plot was kind of all over the place at times and made it hard to make connections between certain characters and events. Other than that it was decent enough. Step up from season 2 but still a step down from season 1.

My most recent completion was Re:Zero S1. It was... alright. I couldn't get over how ridiculously exaggerated every character's mannerisms were, like they just do not talk like anything resembling real humans lmao. Also the fact that Subaru can't tell anyone about being stuck in the time loop is rather blueballing. What could be a great conflict for fleshing out the characters is instead constantly cockteased but never ends up going anywhere.

The action sequences are solid though and the characters are fairly likable. I might watch the next seasons but I'm in no hurry.

5/10 IMO.

I thought he couldn’t tell, because Satella’d end Emilia’s heart, if he did.
No yeah I get the narrative's reason for why, it doesn't seem inconsistent or anything. Just a preference thing; I've never been great with some mystery shows because of how they yank the viewer's chain so to speak lol.

I don't mind a bit of buildup but it felt like the underlying conflict with the witch and why he's stuck in the time loop did not get very much focus throughout the season. It seemed like the last few episodes were sort of setting up to explore all of that more in season 2 though, so I'll definitely give it a watch eventually.

I haven’t got past season 3 yet. Might have to re-watch again but didn’t like the series that much. Thanks due to a very un-like-able & weird protagonist in many ways.

I watched up-to episode 10 or so of Oshi no Ko & like episode 8 or so was an episode that had to do with suicide & stuff. When I saw that I heard that episode was based-on or at-least resembled the real case of Hana Kimura. What a horrid tragedy. I didn’t know it was that bad in a-lot of Japan. Obviously this is also a problem else-where too but in this case it led to suicide. They said horrible, horrible & horrible stuff. So sad & she was so young too. Younger than almost all of us & this was over 5 years ago. After the incident apparently some people apologized to the mother but apologising won’t bring the deceased back, will it?

I’m truly sorry, Yoshi & Itachi while we are at it.

The Fable: 8/10

Reread this as I noticed The Fable 2 is finished and wanted to read it. This was as good as I remember it being. Has a great mix of serious and comedic moments and is one of the few manga that can actually make me laugh at times. Great read.

Still need to finish the 3 specials that conclude Psycho Pass 3. Will probably do that after finishing the Fable 2. Haven't been in an anime mood lately.
