Recommend Yoshi Some Anime Only Series...

After I read the Zou Arc in One Piece and the PAIR Arc in Toriko, I'm going to watch some Anime Only Series, especially since I've read enough Manga for now, and I hit Chapter 100 in Dragon Ball and the Red Ribbon Arc sucks. I've mostly watched shitty Anime Only Series anyway, like SAO, Code Geass, and Gurren Lagann.

Evangelion, Clannad, Baccano, Stein's Gate, Log Horizon, and Angel Beats! all interest me. Which of these should I start first?

Space Adventure Cobra
Saint Seiya
Lupin III
Golgo 13
Jungle no Ouja Taa-chan

These series aren't anime-only, but the severe lack of English translations for the manga makes watching their anime series the only alternative (Saint Seiya does have scans for volumes 1-5, 10 and 19-28, though for the rest you'd have to buy the Viz manga titled as "Knights of the Zodiac").

Saint Seiya, Cobra and Lupin all have a lot of sequels and spin offs, so if you definitely want to start either of them, it's best you say so in order for me to give you a rundown on the continuity of them.

Taa-chan and Episodes 57-114 of Saint Seiya also only have shit subs available. It's still easy to tell what's going on and decipher the dialogue, though it's still annoying.

SAO and Log Horizon aren't anime only. Though Boku no Pico is a great series.

I think Yoshi's referring to series that strictly don't have a manga (eg. Light Novels) as "Anime Only" due to Light Novel translations being harder to find online.

The title is a bit misleading then if that's the route we're going down. I'd recommend more light novel or game based anime if it was titled "anime not based on a manga", since shows where the anime is the source material is a bit more specific.

Also regarding light novels, it depends on the popularity of the series, because they're not hard to find. They're just in a godawful .txt format.

A lot of people also don't know that light novels exist.
