RoF Gohan vs Teen Gohan

I think Piccolo makes it very clear that RoF Gohan is a complete weakling, how does he fare against his previous weak self?

Is it even possible for Gohan to have gotten that weak in such a short time frame?

Gohan was still treated like he was leagues above Piccolo, Goten and Trunks. And I have no reason to believe anime Goten/Trunks are far weaker than their manga counterparts. I think Gohan here, and in the ToP arc (pre-Ultimate reunlock) still had residual power from the old kai potential charm, he was just too out of shape/not refined as a warrior to use all of it anymore.

Remember, Goku only considers the kids "pretty good", they aren't rivaling Gohan at all.
