Saiyan Army VS Freeza Force

[Captain Cadaver]

In this scenario, an opportunity has opened up for King Vegeta to take his son back when Freeza has to pay a visit to his father. King Vegeta uses this opportunity to rally the Saiyans into rebelling against Freeza, gathering as many Saiyans as he can and fleeing Planet Vegeta in their pods. Once finding out about this, Freeza destroys the Planet and sends his troops to bring down the Saiyans.

This thread will be part versus thread, part role play, as the input of the majority will affect the campaign. You can give input on both the battle scenarios and how it'd affect character motivations. Once enough of an input has been given, I'll move onto the next stage, with us seeing how far the Saiyans make it in this scenario.

Stage #1 - The Saiyans have arrived on a regular Planet, but discover a Spaceship belonging to Freeza. Stealing this ship will result in the Saiyans gaining the advantage of having healing tanks to abuse their Zenkais. However, the ship is commanded by a Captain with a battle power of 18k (let's say another one of Cui's race), 2 powerful second in commands at 7.5k each and 100 troops as strong as the average Freeza Soldier. How do you see this playing out?

If it did, King Vegeta would've just went SSB and defeated Freeza before the scenario even started after getting a resolve boost because "muh Pride".

Saiyans attack by Moonlight and have the best chance to steal the ship. I think they take a decent hit to their numbers but the promise of Zenkai is worth the risk. King Vegeta and some of the other high ranking Saiyans probably don't participate, as this wouldn't be considered dire mission, nor is it a last stand. So they stay behind, leaving the likes of Bardock, Raditz and a mixed army of the various level soldiers to charge the mission. Bardock and Raditz live to tell the tale. A chunk of low level soldiers get killed, with minimal damage to the other ranks.

I should have noted that if factoring in Oozaru due to the attack by moonlight part, it won't be happening in this battle if that changes your opinion, the reasoning being there'd be too much of a risk in the ship being damaged or destroyed in the process. Because of this, King Vegeta will also want his troops to bring the battle to the outside to avoid the damages it'd otherwise cause.

I thought there might be a scenario where a few brave Saiyans would be willing to sacrifice their tail prior to battle in order to reach the ship at lowered risk.

But in your scenario the toll is of course going to be much, much higher. I'd say 150 of the lower Saiyans take a hit, a couple losses in each category of the other two. Prince Vegeta will have to go along to eliminate the 18k commander, but he gets the job done. Bardock and his whole crew come along to take care of the mid level fodder.

Overall a decent blow to the ranks of lower level Saiyans but the ranks stay strong.

The Saiyan's should be able to clean house if they play it safe. Upon realization that none of his other men are able to compete with the Captain of the ship, he swallows his pride and decides to take him on along with his son. Bardock and his crew are ordered to eliminate the commanders of the ship, and the rest of the Saiyan army such as the lower class with Nappa being the lead of this bunch take on the Freeza soldiers who I reckon have a battle power of about 2,000.

Now this is the outcome of the battle imo...

Nappa and the Elite-Low-Mid class Saiyan's vs Freeza soldiers - Despite quite a few Saiyan's particularly the lower class have inferior strength to the soldiers, their numbers and the fact that Nappa and the middle class are with them makes this battle an easy win. Nappa and the elites easily runs over these soldiers like nothing while the middle and low class push forward with their superior strength and numbers. Nappa comes out of this battle unscathed, and only a few low-mid class warriors get killed in the process.

Bardock and his crew vs The 2 commanders - Similar outcome as the previous battle. Bardock is already at a higher level than them, and with the crew being on his side they stand no chance against them (Even though Bardock would probably easily take them out even without assistance from his crew, I just thought it would be neat having them fight alongside him)

King Vegeta and Prince Vegeta vs The Captain - Now this is where it gets interesting.... Even with the King and prince fighting together, the Captain easily brushes them off. Although they would get battered around for a while, Bardock and his crew would likely have already finished their battle and come in to provide assistance to the King and prince before they get killed. Even their help may not be enough though, so the rest of the Saiyan army along with Nappa come in since they have already killed every remaining soldier that were on the ship. Because of their sheer numbers, the Captain's stamina gives in and all of them summon a combined attack that erases the enemy out of existence.

The Saiyan army prevails and they now have the ship in their possession. All of the injured soldiers in battle are healed up in the healing tanks and the one's that were in near-death condition gain small boosts to their power from Zenkai's. King Vegeta resents the fact he needed help from his fellow Saiyan's in order to take down this threat, but comes to understand that this is the best course of action in order to stand a chance against Freeza and his army.

The Saiyans can high diff the Captain if they play smart and the strongests fight too (Like Vegeta Sr) but at the cost of a few saiyans. Others get a zenkai too. Not sure about the numbers though.

Good input from everyone, especially Future Warrior. For the final verdict, I'm going with FW's scenario for the most part, but to keep the losses somewhat in line with SG's input, the casualties are 50 low classes and 5 mid classes dead, with Raditz and 150 Low Classes wounded enough to receive a small Zenkai. The King and Prince also gain a modest boost from surviving a battle with such a strong warrior.

Stage #2 - 6 months have passed with the Saiyans having evaded Freeza's forces, with all the Saiyans having increased their power somewhat through constant fighting. Due to the ship's safety being vital, fighting is only permitted when landing on a new Planet, so the increases haven't been drastic. King Vegeta, having recognised Bardock's power, has given him the rank of Super Elite in order to pave over the humiliation of a low class saving him. Due to low numbers, the Saiyans have also been sure to reproduce, 5 female Low Classes are out of commission due to pregnancy and lack of incubators on the ship.
Wishing now to send Freeza a true message, King Vegeta plans for Bardock, his crew, 20 Low Classes and 1 Elite Saiyan to attack one of Freeza's mediocre Planets (let's say Planet Freeza #36 or something). The moon of this planet doesn't produce enough Bruits Waves to trigger the Oozaru transformation, so this will mainly be storming the castle. Inside the buildings are 150 average troops.
However, their Scientist in the command centre will relay a message to HQ, with Tagoma & Shisami being sent to deal with them. The pair are on a nearby system and will only take an hour to get there. Essentially, this battle is a race against time of Bardock and co. eliminating the soldiers and taking any necessary supplies before the pair arrive.

This is a esse task. Most of the average Freeza force had a cannon on their hands, they're piss weak. Only the top average are around Raditz, so the Saiyans solo without casualities. They do take a while, but it definitely isn't an hour, considering how fast the fights in DB are.

Obviously, it's not SSB tier, but for the sake of threat we'll say he can use it once to injure one of the Saiyans if they're off-guard.

 

[Future Warrior]

Bardock and his crew along with several other Saiyan's are ordered to infiltrate Freeza planet #39. Due to declining numbers of resources that are available in the planet the Saiyan's coincide in, they are advised to take as many goods they can muster. The Saiyan squad were able to start their infiltration by setting up a Ki cloak system on their space pods which is a technology that they were able to utilize from the ship that they have taken over, avoiding getting shot on sight. The Saiyan team that's run by Bardock begin their onslaught. Their wasn't any planning involved due to Bardock's short-sighted nature. For all they knew, all they had to do was rush in, kill everyone in the ship, take as much resources, and get the hell out.

They start going into each room one by one, killing any enemy on sight and taking anything they thought'll be useful. Top to bottom they inspect everything, and then they move on to the next room. Once they finish cleaning up an area of the base, they ensure that they blow up the entire facility behind them. When entering the last room of the main building, much to their dismay they find out a scientist has called for reinforcements (Shisami and Tagoma) and will be arriving in 1 hour from now. No way their stopping now though. Now 3 more facilities remain in the base. Some of the resources that they have taken are nourishment, medicine, drugs that aid in pregnancy, and Saibamen jars. This process of killing, collecting, and destroying is repeated. 5 lower-class warriors have died at this point, and 13 remain. Bardock's crew along with the elite warrior, especially Bardock himself are still standing with barely any injuries. Each building took about 10 minutes to finish, and now 20 more minutes remain till the reinforcements have arrived. Then to their horror, right when they enter the last building that is left, they see over a hundred soldiers piled up ready to attack them. Even more than the amount they fought when taking the ship, and now they have fewer numbers. The entire squad feels intimidated except for Bardock. Instead, he smiles confidently and tells them that he's about to show them why he was promoted as a Super-Elite. His confidence gives comfort to his fellow comrades, and they yell out the pride of the Saiyan's.

They finish off the last building and quickly destroy it. They have completed their mission, and they fly back to their space pods. Unfortunately though, they lost track of time and Tagoma and Shisami have already arrived. They don't carry their scouters to measure their power level anymore due to getting destroyed during their mission. Bardock is the first to attack and instantly gets crippled by their attack. They tell them that once they finish killing them they will find the coordinates of the location to the rest of their race and will slaughter them. After seeing their squad not being able to lay a finger on the pair and getting effortlessly killed by them, Tora realizes their's no hope and takes Bardock's crippled body towards the ships while the pair are busy finishing off their crew. Remembering what the pair had said, he destroys most of the space pods except for 3 (2 for him and Bardock, and 1 to put the resources they had taken). After setting up 3 of the pods, much to his dismay the pair had already finished their business with other Saiyan's and are now out for blood against the last two. Upon realization that he has no time to get into his pod and fly off, he destroys the pod that he was about to go into and plans to sacrifice himself for the remaining 2 pods to fly off. The last thing Bardock sees before going unconscious is Tora smiling at him before getting obliterated. They have managed to bring some of the resources they have taken but there was only one survivor from the crew.

Well, with such a detailed scenario, I don't think there's even any point in me waiting to move on. Doesn't seem to be anything gained from doing so.

Stage #3 - The Saiyans now have enough supplies to last their army for 5 months and enough serum to grow up to 50 Saibaimen, all at the cost of some of their most promising warriors. This has taken quite the toll on Bardock, though his survival against such powerful opponents aided by his rage at the loss of his friends has rewarded him with quite a large Zenkai.
Unfortunately, the Freeza Force has been able to estimate their hideout and route based on the angle Bardock's pod escaped. After 2 months of searching, the Saiyan's hideout has been found by Dodoria and Zarbon. With a militia of 1,000 average Freeza Soldiers, they descend onto the Planet and the Saiyans must hold an all-out battle to survive, with victory or defeat being the only options.
A full moon will occur in 3 hours' time after the battle commences, with it lasting 2 hours. King Vegeta, his son and 2 Elite Saiyans can also use a Power Ball to create an Artificial Moon, but will only do so as a last resort due to the Ki drain. However, Freeza has been made aware of the problem and is heading to the Planet to deal with the Saiyans. The time it will take him to get there is 5 hours, so should the Saiyans triumph, they must do so quickly.

As for the Stage #3, i think the Saiyans will get decimated. Not only they're far below in number, but the presence of Dodoria and Zarbon will fuck them hard. The Saiyans will lost a ton of soliders (Mainly low classes) and be forced to create a moon within minutes, though the Saibamens can wipe out a few soldiers with self destruction. Not sure about numbers as aways, but the casualties will be the biggests here.

Zarbon and Dodoria seem to rather have their soldiers do the dirty work for them, so I imagine they'd stay put till they have realized their troops had lost. Paragus being the strategist here advises King Vegeta and Bardock to stay away from this battle until the real threat shows up so they can save their stamina against them. So King Vegeta, Bardock, Paragus, Gine, Raditz, are left in the ship. Prince Vegeta however, is told to fight against the troops as part of his training. Just in case, they also had 30 low-class Saiyan's remain as well. Nappa leads the Saiyan army against the Freeza soldiers. The Saibamen are also there to assist them.

Nappa and the Saiyan army (and Saibamen) vs 1,000 Freeza soldiers - The stakes are much higher here because of the extremely large amount of soldiers that they have to face. I do think they will prevail however, with Nappa and the elites being there. I imagine a whole lot of low-class warriors dying though, at least a 100. Around 20 Saibamen remain, while the elites still say strong. Prince Vegeta of course isn't even out of breath.

This is when the big boys show up. Dodoria and Zarbon appear and instantly start reeking havoc. They outta eliminate at least a couple dozen more of the low-class and a couple of the middle-class before Bardock and King Vegeta arrive on the battlefield. Now this is where things get juicy. We have King Vegeta and Bardock taking on Zarbon while the rest of the army led by Nappa takes on Dodoria.

King Vegeta and Bardock vs Zarbon - Vegeta and Bardock start off with a combined assault which to Zarbon's surprise is keeping even him on his toes. He never expected the Saiyan's to have grown this strong so quickly. Despite Zarbon having quite a bit of an advantage over the two of them in terms of power, their ability to get stronger as they fight and being able to withstand attacks far above their limitations makes them an opponent you shouldn't underestimate. As Zarbon starts to lose his leverage he turns into his monster form, and starts effortless clobbering them around. They instantly start losing their ground, and King Vegeta calls upon 30 of the low-class warriors that were them to stall him for a little. While doing this, King Vegeta orders a Saiyan elite that's currently in battle against Dodoria to create a power ball, and for no one to look at it except himself. Doing this will prevent himself from losing any strength from creating a power ball. 30 of the Low-class were already killed now, but they were able to buy time for Vegeta to become an Oozaru. Although he gains a 10x multiplier from this transformation, the same cannot be said for his speed. King Vegeta asks a weakened Bardock and calls upon two more elites for aid to distract Zarbon so that he can land a clean blow. Two of the elites were killed in the process, but as Zarbon was about to land the finishing blow on Bardock, his savage mind has fortunately made him forgot the real threat and gets instantly killed by a punch from Oozaru Vegeta.

Nappa and the Saiyan army vs Dodoria - Although Dodoria would be able to instantly kill all of these Saiyan's, he is shown to be very easily outsmarted and catched off-guard. What they will do is multiple elites attempt to take Dodoria head on and while this is going on Prince Vegeta and dozens of other warriors can catch him off guard by shooting him in the back. He would incapable of defending himself from every corner. Eventually, Dodoria's stamina will give in, and Nappa launches a Kappa for the finishing blow. Many Saiyan's would have died in the process, but ultimately they should pull the win here. At first I thought Oozaru Vegeta would most likely be required after taking down Zarbon but I guess not.

The Saiyan's once again take claim their victory through a desperate battle with a large amount of losses. Upside is though, they have Zarbon and Dodoria's ship in their possession, so now they have two. They are now able to hold more incubators for babies which would mean a faster rate of reproduction. Many of the Saiyan's that have survived the encounter should gain a power up from fighting at such a large scale, especially Bardock, who should be critically injured from fighting Monster Zarbon. King Vegeta is now feeling a string of emotions at this point. A large portion of their army is now gone, and who know's what type of threat Freeza will send next. He feels that the best course of action is to restore their race and gain as much power as possible.
