In the english dub, Goku said "i go to experience what it's like being a saiyan god, and i learned to tap on my own."

Depends whether or not this is English dub exclusive. It probably exists within the Japanese version too, which could make this quite interesting. On occasion, Toriyama has referred to SSJ God as "The Saiyan God", such as when discussing the title of Movie 14 being "Kami to Kami". It would be quite perplexing though, due to the form being referred to as Super Saiyan God even in DBS, though that could be due to characters not knowing the true appearance of SSJ God until Goku and Vegeta mastered it prior to FnF.
