How powerful was it? Goku believed a Genki-Dama could've defeated Oozaru Vegeta, but half of it's power couldn't even put down a Vegeta 10x weaker.

Context: giving Kuririn the Genki-Dama
Goku: “Genki-Dama. Yes, ki that I gathered bit by bit from all over the Earth. About half of it got away, but I think there’s enough to beat him as he is now. [ ] Do it, Kuririn! Gohan couldn’t control such power.”

It just goes to show that the moon ball severely weakened Vegeta. His performance against Gohan after regressing from Oozaru shows that the Genki Dama didn't need to be as impressive as most think. But it's possible that Goku couldn't transfer 100% of the ki to Krillin, which would make more sense.

This is one case where Viz's line is actually better. Does anyone have a link to the Japanese scans? I want to see if the word half is used when Goku is speaking to Krillin.

That's the one. Herms is definitely correct. 半分 literally means half and くらい means approximately. Idk why Viz would deviate from such a straightforward literal translation in this instance.

I also still have no idea why they changed Vegeta's statement about Oozaru being 10x a Saiyan's Battle Power. There was no reason to do that.

I have Oozaru Vegeta at 45k (Goku said a 5x kaioken wouldn't be enough) and Genki Dama at 60k.

Iirc, what Goku gave to Krillin was only a few amount of genki compared to the one he planned to use against Oozaru Vegeta.
