Self-Imposed Rules?

Do you ever play with self-imposed rules (like the Nuzlocke challenge) to make the Gaems for difficult?

I don't, but I think in my next playthrough I will. Not necessarily the Nuzlocke, but I want my Pokémon to be within two levels of the Gym Leaders at all times. I tend to over-level my team, so it should make for a good challenge. :elmo

My only self-imposed rule is that all of my Pokémon (besides utility Pokémon like HM hoes) must be in Pokéballs.

My only self-imposed rule is that I beat the Elite Four on the first try (can't be assed to have to go through them repeatedly nowadays) and that I kill any roamers that turn out to have shitty IVs

Back when I played Gold/Silver/Crystal and Ruby/Sapphire I had a rule where I'd release any Pokemon I already had (including multiples of the same starter), but I got over that faggotry quickly enough

I usually catch male Pokemon that look masculine and female Pokemon that look feminine. I also beat Blaine before challenging Silph Co and Sabrina.

I've always done this. I used to Nuzlocke all the time but it's been forever since I've played any game idk what I want to do.
