Marik didn't actually kill her though, he just trapped her mind in an illusion and made it so she'd die once the memory bugs ate her entire mind. Jonouchi also probably would've died if he hadn't been escorted to the hospital, since he had stopped breathing after he suffered the effects of God Phoenix incinerating Gilford.

Yeah. Bakura said after defeating Bonz/Koizuka that he was going to fork over his Puzzle Card and then die, and he croaked and collapsed afterward. It's difficult to say if he'd have been restored to normal the same way both Bakuras came back after Yami Marik's death, or if his body would've been dead too long for his soul to restore it back to functionality, like how Mai is implied to be fated to die horribly if Marik isn't defeated soon.
