Should Cell have lost good deal of power after receiving Final Flash?

Given how Kamehameha heavily decreased his power?

My problem's how he could walk through Vegeta's energy blasts, that shows he's power barely decreased if not.

The final flash was so far away from being a threat to Cell that he was joking about half his body being blown away. I don't think merely regenerating takes significant ki from Cell, the blast has to be threatening to him.

Cell was using such a small portion of his full power that the strain of regenerating probably didn't compare to the power he could simply draw out on a whim imo.

Nail while losing an arm lost much battle power, Cell lost his torso.

It's not the same, Nail lost his arm to a guy 10x stronger than himself. Cell lost his torso and played along with Vegeta as a joke. You can tell that the blast had no impact on him. When Goku blasted half of Cell's body away we were told his ki dropped. Nobody made note of it here.

Yeah, it's a little weird. Like, no one has been so cocky with regenerating like that. Dude blew off half your body my guy. There should be some cost. But even if he lost power, he's so far ahead of Vegeta it didn't matter.

It has nothing to do with the strength of the attacker. According to the Dragon Books, Cell’s regeneration is better than a Namekian’s. It’s not flat out stated in the manga, but you can pick up the clues.

So Namekians can regenerate limbs with great effort, but can’t regenerate their heads. Cell can easily regenerate his limbs, but takes effort to regenerate his head.

I was thinking if he got destroyed he got destroyed. Doesn't make sense for it to matter how powerful the blast was, since the amount of tissue he's rebuilding is the same, but GSM123 makes a good point about head regeneration probs taking more energi.

I was also thinking, after checking the anime and manga, I guess it's possible he quickly tried to dampen the KHH's damage by sending out some ki to protect his body. Watching/reading the KHH, it looks like the part of Cell destroying doesn't cover 100% of the area of where Goku's KHH probably went. So he likely used some ki dampening it. With the FF it seems like he didn't use ki to dampen it, as it just hit a smaller part of him and totally destroyed that whole area.

Frieza logically ain't using anywhere near his 530k, he didn't plan on using much strength, he's still using one level of strength which would make someone of 42k get inflicted lot of damage.

Yes, Cell consistently didn't loss ki here, but I'm asking if he should have.
