Should the focus remain on the current cast?

I asked a similar question on DBZF, so I'll change it up here. Should the focus on Goku, Vegeta and the main cast remain from a story perspective? Or should we change the focus to a new cast?

Make 17 the main character and then I don't care what anyone else does lol

Make Gohan relevant but not a bitch and I'll be happier.

Would depend on whether or not the other universes get revived at the end. If so, shift the focus to Universes 6 and 11 for a while, or those not involved in the ToP. If not, the latter could still work, though without focusing on other Universes, the only way I see it possible to shift the focus is through a timeskip past the end of Z.
