I feel like his speech would have had more of an impact if Son Goku was truly the last remaining Saiyan (full blooded at least). Then again, I am one of those people who believe the series should have ended at the Freeza arc.

After Freeza killed him? Meh, I don't mind him being revived. I'd have much rather seen him stay dead after self destructing vs Boo.

I feel like Vegeta wasn't even a rival to Galu like Piccolo and Tenshithands were up to this point, he just was some scumbag they temporarily tolerated to try and beat Freeza. So it wasn't that bad that he was revived, the Boo arc death being reversed in 2 days was what lacked impact for me.

I think if Vegeta stayed dead and did the proper training, went back around Cell Arc he could of probably stomped Goku Base and SSJ and ASSJ

-Vegeta should have stayed dead, for his speech to have some meaning.
-Humans and Piccolo should have stayed dead for their noble sacrifices to have
some meaning.
However, that could only work if DB ended at Freeza Saga.

No, his death was a great ending for him but that was too early for his character to end IMO. Vegeta went on to have an amazing character development from evil to being a good guy organically and much better than Piccolo. I do agree that he should've died forever after that final atonement though.

Yes. Whilst some would say his character became whole with the Boo Arc, most of his development towards that was offscreen as a result of a timeskip and I don't find his Final Explosion or admittance of Goku's superiority nearly as gripping as him pleading Goku to avenge he and the Saiyans. Vegeta's development was whole enough in the Freeza Arc and somewhat tarnished by his actions in the Cell Arc prior to Trunks' death.
However, I'd concede that his revival seemed inevitable from both a story and popularity perspective with the series still ongoing and would only work if the Freeza Arc or slightly after that was the end of the manga.
