Is Monster one of the greatest seinen manga/animes ever?
It just makes it outside of my top ten manga/anime, but still within my top ten seinen series, yeah.

Is that better than all the other acclaimed and some-what more well-known shows in the west, like Cow-Boy Bebop and Neon-Genesis Evangalion.
Yes, in my opinion. Far better than Cowboy Bebop, which gets vastly overrated for it's nostalgia quality (though still a good series) and fairly better than NGE.

Also since I just mentioned that, what do you think of Neon-Genesis Evangelion?
I'd say it's a good series thematically. Although it gets overrated by pretentious overthinkers for it's symbolism, some of the characters can be very hard to like (eg. Asuka) and it's ending is purposefully confusing to the point of not seeming entirely cathartic, it can still be considered a success due to being a good subversion of typical mecha tropes, a reflection of both Japanese society at the time, as well as Anno's mind at the time, and most importantly, a strong supporter of anti-escapism.

Don't like the movie reboots though, since they take away a lot of the good qualities of the original by having a large amount of otaku pandering.

Ashita no Joe by a wide margin, also being my 2nd favourite manga and 3rd favourite anime/manga in general.

Heard of it, but never got around to seeing it. I have seen other Lieji Matsumoto works though, such as Space Battleship Yamato and Space Pirate Captain Harlock.

Kewl. I never knew the creator of that series was that profiling. Just looked-up the Wikipedia list.

Best Anime Original series, you've ever seen?

Have you ever watched Digimon Tamers? If so what do you think of that?

The Tatami Galaxy, with Serial Experiments Lain coming as a close second.

Haven't seen it, though from what I've heard the psychological aspects of it make it far better than the other Digimon series.

Your Favourite movie based on an anime series?

Your favourite Hayao Miyazaki film?

Have you seen the first Lupin series Hayao Miyazaki has worked on? I haven't. Seems kind-of out-of-genre for him.

Either the two Area 88 OVAs (both are about the runtime of a typical movie), or the 1995 Ghost in the Shell if it counts. If only including movies that are a spinoff for an anime/manga, then The End of Evangelion due to giving the series a more solid and understandable ending than episodes 25-26 did.

Your favourite Hayao Miyazaki film?
Princess Mononoke

I have. The first few episodes were very good, but when Miyazaki jumped on board and tried to make things more family-friendly, it became far less even in tone. Still one of the better Lupin series since it's one of the few to bother with plot continuity.

What do you think of people who "buy" their followers on twitter?

What kind-of comedy do you like?

Nintendo or Play-Station?

In the original version of DragonBall (Z), do Yamcha & Vegeta & Futute Trunks have the kewlest voices?

Pathetic.

What kind-of comedy do you like?
Mainly satire and some absurdist stuff. Favourite comedy series would include South Park, Monty Python's Flying Circus and Blackadder.

Nintendo or Play-Station?
Depends on the console, really. I play a lot more Playstation games than I do Nintendo, so I'd probably go Playstation.

They're up there, but I find Freeza, King Cold, Mr. Satan, Cell and Dabura to be the top tier.

Depends whether or not we're including the Bardock and Trunks TV Specials. If so, then them. If not, either The Path to Power or DBZ Movies 5, 9 or 12. I probably like them more than BoG now after noticing how little sense the Oracle Fish's prophecy makes due to Trunks' timeline, which is quite the plot breaking problem.

Of-course I didn't include the specials. There'd be no contest other-wise. :king :king :king

Best anime sound-track you ever heard?

As in an individual track or the soundtrack of a series as a whole? For a series' overall soundtrack, it's hard to pick a single favourite, though the ones I consider to be top tier are Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Berserk (1997), Dragon Ball (Kikuchi score, obviously), Hokuto no Ken, One Piece and Hunter X Hunter (2011).

For individual tracks, it's far harder to pick a sole favourite. If including vocal insert songs, then I guess Berserk due to Forces, though if including public domain music not produced for the series, Legend of the Galactic Heroes wins due to using Dvorak's New World Symphony (OP used it as well for Crocodile's defeat, but it was far more fitting in LoGH).

Yes and found it mediocre at best, unlike :autism who'll still be hyping up OP as a masterpiece.

I'd do the logical thing and see my doctor about how to prevent it.

....by telling him how in no less than 3,000 words. :autism
