It has good world building and Squealer is an interesting villain, but vastly held back by it's bland main cast where their only saving grace is not being inconsistent like characters in most modern anime, not to mention the heavy amount of gay/lesbian moments seemed to be there for no reason other than the creator to have some pandering. Also, a lot of the ideas have been done better elsewhere. The idea of a village surrounded in mystery was done better in Haibane Renmei, psychics were done better in Akira and having human civilisation regress in certain aspects of technology after an evolutionary/technological peak was done better in Turn A Gundam. Overall, it had great ideas but poor execution that I wouldn't say makes it much more than average.

Grade 3 wasn't shown to be used for that long either, nor did Trunks even try going for the logical Plan B of Ki blasts with it. That, and based on Cell instantly replicating it, it's safe to say it's comparable to Ki weighting such as Roshi's Manly GAINZ Max Power mode which was implied to be too strenuous for actual combat prior to the Super anime canon based on him only using it to destroy stationary objects and not face far stronger foes.

Very good. It seems almost alien to consider Ali being on the ropes, with Foreman seeming to have had the edge in power with his constant offence. Had it not been for Ali's better stamina, he may very well have lost that match I believe.

Yes, if you like more idealistic, silver age stories but with a more serious tone. To give you a quick synposys, it's about a age in the future where the Justice League and other heroes retire as more violent, brutal heroes take their places.

Oh and the artwork is made by Alex Ross, who does some great realistic drawings.

Joe himself, who's easily in my top 10 anime/manga character list. The development he goes through throughout the series' entirety is fantastic and only matched by a few protagonists in the medium. Rikiishi comes as a second due to the impact his rivalry with Joe had as well as generally being both a gentleman and complete chad.
