Have you ever watched any of DCAU's productions? You know, stuff like BTAS, STAS, Batman Beyond, JL Unlimited...

I watched a little of BTAS a few months back and watched most of Justice League when I was a kid. Also saw the Batman Beyond film The Return of the Joker when I was around 8-9. From what I've gathered, BTAS and Justice League are probably the best DC cartoons and easily amongst the best western superhero cartoons. I'll probably watch all of BTAS at some point to form a thorough opinion on it.

As for Justice League, I have enough of a memory of it and info from trusted sources to say it's overall just slightly above average at best. The first two seasons were good as it had a pretty good focus on teamwork and chemistry amongst the main cast, with them often showing some level of doubt in their abilities along with how the public viewed them, though the latter is often made redundant by the fall of public opinion purely being due to the villains' propaganda. A lot of the appeal went away in Unlimited when several dozen superheroes show up out of nowhere, thus making a lot of the character focus and engaging limitations being lost when there was practically an entire army at disposal for missions, not to mention the new heroes having nowhere near as much charisma or appeal as the original 7. The fourth season/2nd Unlimited season is probably it's peak due to many of the subplots coming together and the humans starting an open war with the metahumans akin to Kingdom Come without Superman being a Jesus stand in, though the fifth season ruins this by being too episodic at times, having a mediocre finale and the Legion of Doom being as cheesy as ever.

Haven't seen them. The first one is good from what I've heard, though is still the poor man's version of the 1995 Ghost in the Shell, whilst the other two are generally considered shit.

Have you ever played/watched The Walking Dead (the video game) ? It's an interesting game story-wise, in season 1 at least. You might not like the following two seasons as much, though the fourth one has potential.

I haven't, though they seem decent apart from the bare bones gameplay mechanics. I also like how they're based on the comics, rather than being based on it's poorly paced and overly plot armoured TV adaption.

I can confirm that they are decent. I could advise you to at least watch a "movie" of the first season.

Do you think it's possible make a live action Dragon Ball movie without being completey cheezy?
Probably not. It would take way too much of a budget for some of it's signature and fantastical elements to be properly displayed and the only way to make it so that the plot wasn't completely rushed or dependant on sequels would be to just adapt the first arc.

Anime since the manga didn't have UI Omen being conveniently spammed beforehand and make the idea of it being such a temporary and draining technique a joke, plus it at least wasted nowhere near as much time fulfilling it's role in the plot.

Disappointment...assuming there were any expectations in the first place. :CC :CC :CC

Only expectations were for high-budget animation :giraffe :giraffe :giraffe :giraffe

He has an actual solid goal (reviving his mentor), isn't overly stoic for the sake of just being edgy (talks a fair bit to his allies and Goku) and his character flaw, whilst simplistic, is at least not damaging to his overall goals (not being capable of the teamwork his mentor valued whilst still desiring his master's approval).

Still a very bland, cliched 3/10 :trash character, but at least he actually is a character unlike his Anime self who's just a hollow plot device.

Who's a character you would give a full 10/10? Doesn't need to be someone from DB.
Oskar von Reuental, Paul von Oberstein, Reinhard von Lohengramm and Yang Wenli, all from Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Also Cao Cao from Three Kingdoms and Londo Mollari from Babylon 5 from what I've seen of it thus far. Possibly Kreia from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II as well.

Heath Ledger's Joker is indeed a good character in how accurately he captures the core traits of a psychopath better than any other movie villain (something backed up by reviews from actual psychologists, no less). His lack of real allegiance and embracing of chaos in order to prove a point to Batman are extremely well done as well as his analysis on the core evil within human nature and the need to survive. Whilst his insanity is portrayed well, it also means that some elements of him are overly inconsistent such as him giving contradicting stories about his backstory. This indeed fits with his personality and isn't a bad thing as inconsistent insanity is with many characters, but does avoid having a solid foundation for his character arc. Speaking of which, therein lies one thing that holds this incarnation of the Joker back in that he doesn't really have much of a character arc beyond bringing a few of the film's themes to the forefront and being a direct opposition to Batman and beyond being captured, his arc at the end of the film has no catharsis due to being so open ended.
Also, his plan to have either Rachael or Harvey killed relied on way too many variables to be pulled off 100% perfectly such as knowing precisely when the police would discover Dent was missing, when and for how long Batman's interrogation would commence and have all that culminate in Batman only having a few moments to save just one of them. This would make sense in his maniacal nature meaning the plan wouldn't be foolproof, but the fact everything went according to plan comes off as way too much of a major plot convenience. This overall damages his character somewhat due to it neither fitting well within the insane element of his personality or complete strategic genius.

Heath Ledger's Joker would be a 10/10 if I were rating him purely on acting performance. That isn't the case though and despite being the perfect conveyor of the film's initial theme of humanity's madness, he lacks enough of a solid character arc or consistency to really be a perfect character. The version of him from The Killing Joke is arguably better due to having far more of a solid backstory and his plan not being so over the top as to have massive holes within it.

7.5/10

GreatSaiyaman123 As for 10/10 characters, I also forgot to include Tywin Lannister and Petyr Baelish from the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, as well as perhaps Jaime Lannister. Tywin's portrayal in it's TV adaption Game of Thrones is also worth mentioning (the show ruined the other two though).

I have not, though they seem pretty good from what I've seen.
