I kind of expected Bulma to die, but I didn't think they could finish Mai off so quickly. The duo (Trunks and Mai) seemed to be the perfect duo, and fairly cool as well. One had a sword while the other carried a shotgun. They could have done so much more with them.

Oh and Goku black looks friggen sick. It shows that Dragonball Super is the shit now!

That introductory episode of Goku Black was one of the coolest Dragonball episodes that I have ever seen. The animation was stupendous and they brought back Trunks in a good way, while introducing a new enemy. Also, it makes me wonder why they talked so much about what Zenos could do, probably because Black is going to be on his radar shortly.

If Gohan dying from the Androids gave Trunks enough rage to gain SS1, how come both Bulma and Mai dying in front of him on the same day not give him another kind of SS.

I wouldn't think that type of logic works in the Dragonball world. Further Super Saiyan transformations are only permitted according to the plot.
