Also, am I the only one perplexed by the Pilaf gang being as physically old as their GT self when Mai is only a couple of years older than Bulma?

I think her only being a few years older than Bulma got retconned, considering any mention of her age was cut out entirely in Super.

Either that, or they did some serious heroin and thought that baking themselves under the sun like a pair of Africans near the equator was a good idea.

Bulma is 60 at GT. I think that humans don't change much till 60, especially when they have access to the healthcare
a wealthy woman like Bulma has. Past 60, the physical changes accelerate for a few years, and then, once more, the
human stops really changing looks till he/she dies, because he/she can only get so many extra wrinkles.
All in all, if Mai was, say, 5 years older than Bulma and lived a life in anxiety and misery because of her master's failed
plans, i don't see why she couldn't look the way she did in GT.
