Soul Eater

I started this up finally after being pestered about it for so long, but is this show actually good? The first two episodes weren't very entertaining.

Iirc either Kyo or Itachi cited the anime for it as being terrible. From what I've heard though, the manga's far superior, if that's any consolation.

Wasn't me, but what I generally hear is that the ending is terrible.

I'll give it a few more episodes and see how I feel about it.

The anime is basically a repeat of FMA 2003 (read: shit), but the manga is vastly superior. It's actually my favorite manga.

Is it episodic? Or does it have a main plot line?

It's not episodic, though the first few episodes seem to be. The plot kicks in around episode 7. The first few episodes constitute what, in the manga, are introductory chapters for the main characters.

I don't dislike them. But for a show 51 episodes long I wouldn't want it to be episodic.

yeah needs to be around 20 eps for sure.

have you watched samurai champloo?

Not yet. I will at some point though.

why are you watching soul eater?

champloo is pretty good. great music.

My sister and a good friend of mine have been pestering me to watch it for ages now. Figured I'd give it a shot cause I wasn't sure what to start next.

Yeah I hear good things about Champloo, I'll definitely be giving it a watch at some point. I need to watch all the popular stuff sometime, though I'll never watch OP, Naruto, or Bleach lol.

haha I watched 2 eps of Naruto on netlix and yah, not happening.

do you tend to watch new anime that are just coming out and getting good reviews or are you trying to watch older anime that are know as very well done.

I never know how to pick a new anime to watch, I always just end up re watching something else.

I pretty much only watch new shit now. Like brand new as in airing right now. 15-20 airing shows and then 1 already finished anime that I come across randomly in between.

soul eater is one of favorite anime series which is filled with some magic and supernatural elements which are bundled along with dollops of adventure, action and charismatic characters, if you are fan of soul eater i suggest you guys to watch some similar anime like soul eater which are more interesting you can check them out here

Never read the manga but I watched the anime when I was like 16. Ending pissed me off.
