Well it spaces things out like Good Boo and SS2 Vegeta, but it's more personal preference I guess? It seems like a pretty unnatural / forced transformation in the manga.

3x for SS3? How do you make that work? I've tried that and SS2 Vegeta ends up really close to Good Boo, and that's even if I lower the Gray Boo / Good Boo gap.

I was just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it would stick. I didn't think about that specific relationship. 4x does work better in that situation.

Are those provided by V-Jump or something akin to that? Nor sure what SEG is...cause I'm lame.

I take it that the SEG is about as reliable as all the other extra material (Daiz, V-Jump, et cetera)?

I'm not nearly as familiar with who was behind the SEG as I am the Daiz and such (KP probably knows better), but I tend to class them all in the same category, yeah.

 

[SSJ2]

SEG was created by Caramel Mama, the same people behind the Daizenshuu. It should be just as credible as those sources.

The only difference is the Daizenshuu were "approved" by Toriyama, while the SEG was "supervised" by him. The extent of his supervision is currently unknown.

I'm a bloater so for standard characters I go with 50/7/6 however for fusions I go with 5/2/4 to compensate for the insanely high fusion multiplier I use.
