Cooler stomps him if I apply hax (which I do). If I negate the hax, then I would still be tempted to give it to Cooler.

Without hax I'd place Cooler on par with Mecha Freeza, so Gohan would win easily. The answer is obvious if you do apply hax (which I'm on the fence about).

Some people take the quote that Cooler said Base Goku could defeat Freeza (100%) at face-value.

The only reason I wouldn't hax him is because he should be weaker than Super #13 going by Takao's statement.

I would never ever use hax. It just doesn't make sense, but I can see why others could do that.

With or without this "Hax" I'd have Cooler win. I have them as equals so I give this to Cooler for his durability.

In regard to the Coola statement, Coola stated later on that SSJ must've been what Goku used to beat Freeza, suggesting that even if we were to take his first statement at face value, he was likely assuming Freeza didn't get a chance to use his full power. No real need to hax M5 characters.

I'd personally place Coola a little above Gohan, so he'd take this. Supernova would definitely seal the deal, considering how much strain it was putting on someone who was stomping Coola prior to it.
