Gohan is approaching Fat Buu's level. Fat Buu is multi folds stronger than Vegeta. SSJ Gohan has to be approaching SSJ2 Majin Vegeta's level.

It's more than just a moderate increase.

I'd be tempted to give it to Vegeta as well, I just think that he will run out of energy a little bit faster, thus giving Gohan enough breathing room to take the victory. Your BPs would definitely give Vegeta the victory though as he has a semi decent lead from the get-go.

Gohan SSJ has a comfortably lead over Majin Vegeta so he would win.

Goku's statement is too vague to mean anything. The only clear evidence we have about Gohan's power is him
wielding the sword better than Goku, so i see no reason to give him more than a moderate advantage over the
adults at the same forms. No need to hax him more after just one day of training.
