SSj Goku vs 100% Freeza

Whilst Freeza seemed always one step behind of Goku, the fight was still closer than handsome Zarbon vs 24k Vegeta or Kaioken Goku vs 18k Vegeta, in which the weaker fighter was badly speed blitzed and could barely follow the opponent. Goku vs Freeza wasn't like a Piccolo Daimao vs Chibi Goku or Piccolo vs 17, but it was more than just a "distant rival" type of gap imo.

I didn't say he was a distant rival.

Goku was clearly reacting to Freeza's rush in the first page, yet failed to strike him before Freeza rose way above him. While I do agree that the fight as a whole paints the picture of Freeza being the weaker fighter, his feats around this time are no joke.

Yeah, Goku and Freeza both rushed toward each-other, but Freeza changed mid-way without Goku realising so yeah maybe that's a favourable feat for Freeza.

According to Vegeta Kuririn's movement technique was better or something like that, but I doubt his real speed was superior. I don't think Freeza has very good technique.

Also what does it say about Freeza even resorting toward such a move to begin with (this was their first real fight post 100%)? I mean trying for a surprise Kiai.

True, that one was worse. This was just a bit of taking advantage in a fight by trying to deceive the other fighter.

I don't really think flying above him and using a kiai was that dirty, anyway. It's not any more cheap than Goku duping Piccolo into blasting himself, or something. Goku himself has done worse, like using his extending stick in a fist fight against PD.

Valid points, but this was at the very beginning of their "serious" fight. I think it does show maybe that Freeza truly does know he's out-matched in a way, considering he's going for surprise manoeuvres right out of the gate.
