Goku seems to be implied to being strongest. And this assumes SSJ Goku ~ Kid Buu.

So SSJ Goku = Kid Buu means SSJ3 Goku > Gohan.

So that completely changes how we view these power gaps. It also possibly changes the SSJ2 and SSJ3 boosts we use.

Let's try a typical lay out.

Ah ok, so if SSJ3 Goku > Ultimate Gohan, then we know that SSJ Gotenks Post cannot be stronger than SSJ3 Goku in the Buu Saga. It creates a mathematical impossibility.

So, I can go a step further. SSJ3 Goku must be stronger than SSJ Gotenks Post for SSJ3 Goku BoG > Ultimate Gohan. Wowza, that's bigger than I thought. Should make some people quite happy then I'd say. Maybe Goku really only was using half power against Fat Buu then.

Ok, now the only question is what to do with Vegeta. That is indeed problematic. But right off the bat we can say we've completely proven something.

I think the image training definitely caps Goku. He can be weaker can Boo (he’s training after all) but I don’t think he’s a lot stronger (He clearly takes Boo seriously, which doesn’t make sense if he can take him as easily as Freeza or Cell). He even tells Goten he’s training for when strong guys like Boo show up.

But there’s two questions we must address.
1) Is Gohan as strong as he was in the Boo Saga?
2) Does Toyotaro have Kid Boo > Other Boo’s?

The hard thing with Kid Boo > All is that it makes Goku too strong. Usually you can just make SSJ3 Goku ~ Bootenks or even just 1.1x Ultimate Gohan, but following the hax you have SSJ3 Goku >>>> Boohan. Hell, PrinceOfSaiyans/MightiestFusion even has SSJ Goku > Ultimate Gohan!

On this sparring bit, I don’t think it means anything. Trying to fight someone much stronger than you is still training, and if Goku considered 1 shotting Freeza and Cell training, then why not stomping Kid Boo? It was just a 5 minute warm up he squeezed in lunch time.

Yeah that’s pretty nasty. SSJ3 Goku 20x Ultimate Gohan? Can you imagine what a BoG Saga list would look like?

Why not show us the fight then? If he cuts before the fight starts then he’s avoiding the question. I have noticed before that it does fit EoZ’s progression, and that makes the scaling very tempting. But again, so does SSJ3 Goku rivaling Bootenks or Boohan, don’t you think? This is midway through the 10 year timeskip.

Tbf I like the idea that EoZ scaling was disrupted when Beerus arrived. Like this was the splitting point between Super and EoZ, with both versions of Goku making the same progress up to that point.

Agreed but I do think EoZ sets the tone for BoG. Everything after that is a mess. But their current pre-Beerus states should be on track
