When Buu's meter is filled up, at what percentage is Goku's ki?

When Buu is finally released and can be sensed, what is Goku's ki percentage now?

Buu Meter = 80-90% imo.

Goku just got started fighting and although it is a brutal fight, I doubt his ki is dropping tremendously. Gohan even comments on the reason it was so fast is because of Goku's enormous power. This does not imply that Goku needs to be heavily damaged at all.

Buu's Release= 70-80% of Goku

This is another quick segment, no reason for Goku to be losing ki at all that different of a rate. I have a hard time seeing Goku much below 70% if even that.

Usually we let the Ssj2 boost dictate how weakened Goku is, but let's try to go the other way and determine the boost based on how battle damaged Goku is.

There's no way imo, that Goku is less than half, definitely not at the Buu Meter.

Why not? Other than the very end, do Goku and Piccolo ever look like they lost considerable amounts of power in their fight?

Time. Fighters are capable of maintaining their maximum power for a good amount of time.

Super Saiyan Vegeta held on against Android 18 for quite a while before losing steam.

Freeza, even with his horrible stamina held on for a bit.

SSJ3 Goku held on for a bit.

Goku vs Piccolo Jr. did not lose power for a while.

Cell vs Goku lasted a bit without losing power.

Goku and Vegeta are only fighting for just a little. Sure, it's an intense fight, but it couldn't have been going on for very long at all.

Remember, what occurs is, Gohan and Kaioshin depart from Goku and Vegeta, they go straight down to where Buu's ball is being held, and then they have a short conversation. Then, they are transported outside, as to not awaken Buu, and another short conversation occurs.

This couldn't have been more than a couple of minutes. And the Buu meter which was at half, is now full.

I have a hard time imagining Goku and Vegeta at less than half power once Buu's meter is filled.

Also, Goku and Vegeta should still be a good deal superior to Majin Buu, even after fighting some more.

The way Vegeta laughs of Majin Buu, it seems to imply that even Goku and Vegeta at their current battle damaged states, can still handle him. I think if Vegeta just headed over and fought Majin Buu right then and there, he'd have beat him, not counting Buu being able to power-up any further of course.

I'm not sure they have even lost Ki on the surface level. Toriyama had Goten and Trunks remark that Goku/Vegeta had incredible Ki directly after Boo's meter was filled up. If they were as low as 50-70% of their power, their Ki wouldn't have seemed anywhere near as incredible. I'm fine with 90%.

@FeatsofPower I agree. I think the only valid comparison here is Goku vs Freeza since we don’t have a timeframe for others, but even Freeza just lost like 10-20% of his power at best, and most of the 5 minutes weren’t even direct combat anyway.

So just 1/10th of Goku’s power is half of Boo’s meter?

Goku's attacks were probably all amplified, physical or not. The damage would rack up pretty quickly.

It's possible that damage inflicted is not necessarily equivalent to the battle power of the user. You can drain one's ki before their battle power becomes an issue. That seemed to be implied with Frieza where Frieza exhausted a good amount of stamina by wailing on Goku and using Nova Strike, but his battle power didn't deteriorate until later in the fight. It could be something similar to this.
