Well, no... not really. It just seems assumptious (is that a word?) to say that everyone else was required. Trunks' blast didn't seem to do that much, and then as soon as Goku "transforms" Broly was quickly overwhelmed. Do you think SS Goten or SS/2 Gohan would make that much of a difference?

And I mean Goku actually being a Super Saiyan 2 isn't really fact either...

Considering SSJ2 Gohan M10 >= Kid Gohan, then yeah it is pretty significant for him to be there.

I don't see a problem with SSJ2 Goku > LSSJ Broly. I personally think it's fine. SSJ2 Goku > Super Perfect Cell = or > M10 LSSJ Broly. Goku is told to deal with him in Hell and I doubt he knew he had been cloned (and I doubt the clone would go to Hell but since M11 is non canon and GT is also non canon and had 19 a purely mechanic android in Hell I think it would be possible for Bio Broly to go to Hell). I personally think this is fine by Goku's reaction.

Goku: Grand Kai wants me and Pikkon to go settle Broly down in Hell? *Sighs* fine, tell Pikkon I'll meet him there just let me finish eating. If Broly was a threat to Goku I'm sure he would've immediately gone to deal with him but prioritizes eating over fighting Broly again.

Another thing to think about is the "Flash Step," i.e. when they apparently disappear for a moment when they move to fast to perceive. Broly never did that against Gohan, while first power-up level Fat Buu did that to Gohan.

In movie 10 Broly was chasing Gohan across the pit of lava and couldn't overtake him. Fat Buu, after powering up the first time, overtook Gohan, who had a head start, in an instant. That same power level of Buu was about on par with Majin Vegeta or perhaps less. To me that shows Majin Vegeta~First Power-Up Fat Buu>LSSJ Broly>SSJ2 Gohan.

Broly Lssj tanked Gohan Ssj2. I really doubt Majin Vegeta Ssj2 could do that. Teen Gohan in M10 is also stronger than Kid Gohan from the Cell Games -he kept up with his training. That said, Broly kills him.

Goku got haxed in M11. If just SSJ2 Goku was stronger than Broly in M10, then Gohan/Goten wouldn't have been needed to help with the KHH.
