SSJ3 Gogeta (M12) vs Gohan Boo

I've always believed that SSJ Gogeta could get the job done (with some difficulty), so I think SSJ3 Gogeta would evaporate Buu.

Gogeta nerfers get out of here..... M12 SSjin Gogeta is in par with his hypothetical canon self and M12 SSjin Gogeta > Evil Boo is a fact.... The movie came when SSjin Gotenks was fighting Evil Boo so at the very least Janemba is in par with the suppressed Evil Boo who was beating SSjin Gotenks while SSjin Gogeta should be Ultimate Gohan level...

Super-Saiyan 3 Gogeta is higher than Ultimate Gohan, but not by that that much.

The Daizenshuu says Gogeta is the strongest in history meaning stronger than everything up to movie 12. Evil Boo was revealed already so it's a fact

The suppressed Evil Boo who wasn't too much stronger than SSJ Gotenks and whom was wrecked by the Super Kamikaze Ghost Attack. Gogeta being stronger than that Boo is obvious, given the somewhat sizeable gap between the adults and kids.

You can assume full power applies due what was revealed at that point being meaningless, but if so, that also makes your essays regarding Movie 8 powerscaling void. You can go the in-universe route or the meta route, but you can't flip-flop between both.

Movie 8 is not the same thing here and besides who said Evil Boo was suppressed? That's never stated... Furthermore, Janemba > SSjin Gotenks post is obvious as he is clearly the strongest in the movie and SSjin Gotenks is in the movie too.... M12 SSjin Gogeta > Evil Boo is obvious... Not to mention the kids are shown to be much weaker than the adults in the anime

Movie 8 is not the same thing here

The majority of your stance on the topic is fuelled entirely by meta logic, whereas you're abandoning that fully in favour of entirely in-universe logic for this as in the anime/manga, Boo had yet to show how powerful he truly was, making absolutely no difference between this case of Goku having only revealed 50% of his power in the manga by the time of Movie 8.

and besides who said Evil Boo was suppressed? That's never stated...

It's made obvious by the fight between SSJ Gotenks and Evil Boo. Gotenks definitely wouldn't have been able to match him with a headbutt had Boo being using power on par with his SS3 form.

And I seriously doubt the Super Kamikaze Ghost Attack has enough of an amp to be a greater boost than the gap between Gotenks' SSJ and SS3 forms.

It's also made apparent that Boo started using far more effort after being hit with the SKGA than before when comparing the damage Gotenks recieved from him in a comparable timeframe to their fight before the SKGA.

Even if I were to ignore all that, it's pretty obvious that he initially wasn't putting out anywhere close to his full power after first forming, given Piccolo wasn't sure Gotenks stood no chance until Boo arrived at the Temple.

Goku didn't sense Gotenks in the Rosat nor the version of Evil Boo who fought him, so they can't be taken into account. This is likely a timeline in which Gotenks' SKGA finished off Boo based on it being one of the most recent chapters and Gotenks having access to the technique in the film. That said, there's nothing to suggest Goku indeed sensed anyone higher than Pre-Rosat SSJ Gotenks or Initial Evil Boo.
