Eh...I've got no beef with this kind of feat. Technically 6,000 degrees should be melting the streets and immediate areas surrounding Nova anyway. Besides all that, I imagine a planetary explosion might rival this kind of temp, and it's accepted that this is survivable long before GT, if not for the lack of air.

Dragonball GT isn't really known for it's feats. Goku at Super Saiyan 4 was cut by glass... and he could barely lift a building. They really don't seem to be all that powerful.
