@Tosh: A possibility that I didn't consider is that SSJBx10 is a Toei thing. Maybe they didn't ask for permission to use it, thus changing Toriyama's statement.

If everything is still going by 6 10 15 then Goku should win no problem.

According to what Toei logic would seem to entail -despite being 10x or so more powerful, the usage of the transformation would probably burn him out before it could ever be effective. That, and Goku was somewhat surprised that he was able to perform it without exploding. For now, I'd call it a work in progress, trump-card, that is not wholly effective just yet.
