Do you think it's greater than the ki drain/strain of SSJ3? It's worth noting that SSJB is the only form that's shown to require a huge amount of ki to even transform into twice, and it was shown that when completed, its power is significantly greater than when Vegeta was transforming into it in bursts. Nothing like this is shown for SSJ3, only that you can only remain in the form for a few minutes.

On that note, how do you think SSJG's ki drain compares to SSJ3's? Although the anime slightly implies SSJG's ki drain may be slightly greater (Galu transformed into SSJ3 earlier than he used SSJG against Caulifla and Kale), judging by the fact that Galu would rather toy with Future Zamasu in SSJG than fight him with a smaller lead in SSJ3 (and seemed to plan on the fight dragging on until he can get Zamasu to surrender), if the drain of God is greater it isn't by much.

Depends on the continuity. Manga-wise, it definitely seems greater since just using turning it off and on recklessly was enough for Vegeta's Ki to decrease to less than 10% of his max, something we never saw in the times a living Galu used SS3 such as when going into it and back to base against Gotenks Boo. It does seem that a fighter is able to handle regular SSB for longer, though judging that is pretty difficult when the speed of the characters ought to be far above Boo Arc top tiers which would mean more extended sequences would happen over a shorter amount of in-universe time.
Anime-wise, SSB is definitely the less draining of the two as the only reference that's given to its strain is a single off-hand reference by Whis and it's shown to be used in excess far more than SS3, which Goku only resorted to once in the ToP.

For SSG, it seems to be more practical than SS3 in both continuities after being able to use the form freely through training. Goku uses it pretty liberally in the ToP compared to SS3 and he does the opposite of commenting on Ki drain when Vegeta uses it against Black in the manga. I would say the SSG Galu VS Zamasu example wouldn't be the most solid comparison though as there would be less risk involved with the Mafuba if Goku held a hefty power advantage over Zamasu as opposed to being only slightly above him as his SS3 form is implied.

I think the drain for SuperSaiyan3 is greater.
SuperSaiyan3 seems more a forced Transformation like G2, & G3, so all the strain, the sudden abundance of Ki exceeding Ki Control is all being ripped from a Mortal Body.
You're pulling something from nothing.

SuperSaiyan God (RED) is acquired by outside means with Divine Ki, which is added to a Mortal so it gives you that new Transformation.
The Body isn't pulling from something that's not there but channeling what is.

There's so much stress from SuperSaiyan 3 that Kaioken cannot be used, whereas SuperSaiyan God (RED) has been multiplied by x50 SuperSaiyan Blue & has added Kaioken to it.

Also to mention LimitBreaker Blue.

I think SSjin3 is greater. It's the reason why Goku never used it again while he still used SSjinB anytime he wanted too but can be risky.
