Anyone else think he will make an appearance towards the end of Super? If the story plays out the same through the F retelling, Whis will continue to push the idea of Goku and Vegeta working together.

Especially considering all the near falls they took fighting Freeza, I can easily see the two saiyans busting out Vegetto at some point against the gods from another universe.

Either that, or a new form

Do any of you feel the same? It's a quick and easy resolution, fans love Vegetto, and of course think of the toys.

With Vegeta's attitude towards fusing, especially permanently, I can't see Vegetto returning. The two Saiyans' combined power is apparently enough to match 100% Beerus, so bringing in Potara fusion would make Beerus, Whis and anyone else they can dish out one-shot material to SSGSS Gogeta, let alone Vegetto. That is, unless there comes a limit to how much power a fusion can give off due to natural limits or if Beerus is made one of the weakest Gods.

That said, SSGSS fusion is just too much of a convenience to bring out, plus Vegeta's personality can help keep it at bay without it resulting in poor writing.

Cavadear said it best. The chances of us seeing Vegetto again outside of flashbacks is extremely slim unless they bring in a different Vegetto from a different Universe or something like that. Unless they pump Frieza up like they kind of did with Byrrus than they won't even need fusion. Goku wasn't at THAT bad of a disadvantage against Frieza in their fight but if any Goku and Vegeta has the best chance of appearing it'd be Gogeta but with this series hyping of the God modes of SSJ I doubt a hypothetical Gogeta/Vegetto would need it unless they make Goku and Vegeta haxed and nerfed at the same time.

I don't think it'll happen. Goku and vegeta both made it clear they don't like the idea of fusing. Being permanently fused at least. Gogeta or ssjgssj2 are much more likely. Although, I see the dragon as defusing kibito Kai as possibly foreshadowing

There wouldn't be enough Saiyans for Vegetto to ever receive the Super Saiyan God ritual unfortunately.

But, Post SSJG Goku and Vegeta merging would be quite incredible. There is no reason for fusion to not still take effect, but perhaps at this godly level there could be some mumbo jumbo that negates their ability to fuse or to gain extra power from it. The God level seems to be a whole different plane of power. Can't be sensed and all that.

I don't see it being a possibility. Some ass-pulled bullshit will probably prevent it from happening. Like Majin Boo's gases caused them to defuse.

Vegetto is all-powerful, he's the only one that can defeat this new enemy...he's got Vadampa (fusion of Champa and Vados) on the run...he can do it! One more attack!

I wouldn't be surprise if Beerus trashes MSSjinB Goku easily later in the series lol. I just hope Vegito remain to be stronger than Beerus and wouldn't be contradicted later but then again, anything can happen!
