you~re a doofus here. "Milliard" is French for 1,000,000,000 ie 10^9. But that number (10^9) is called a "billion" in Greece, US, UK and some other countries. But "Billion" in France, Germany and some other countries (like SIAD said) is 10^12. But that number (10^12) is called a "trillion" in the countries that call 10^9 a "billion". SSJ(2) said milliard is a billion, so I'm saying milliard=billion=trillion, because he was translating the long scale "milliard" to the short scale "billion", but if you translate that "billion" back to short scale it's called a "trillion".

milliard=billion=trillion=quintillion=nonillion=septendecillion and so on. Just noticed every time you switch back from long scale to short scale, the difference between the two small numbers the large numbers derived their names from seems to double each time.
