What kind of novel did you write

The novel that I'm currently righting is a love story/ sci-fi. It's about two aliens, Carlos and Aaliyah whom are searching for special artefacts, whilst simultaneously dealing with social racism from the human beings and trying to prepare for an oncoming invasion.
