Kikoho is obviously a factor, but that can probably be said for most Tenshinhan battles. 2

With the Kikoho, Tenshinhan stomps. Without it, Frieza stomps. That's how most Tenshinhan fights go.

Frieza wins without batting an eye. Tien may be able to hold Frieza down for a bit, but I doubt the Shin Kikoho has enough power to overcome the latter's durability.
