I'll take the duo that dominated an Android Arc squad over a guy that couldn't do anything of note to Trunks. Not looking horrible in a few exchanges doesn't equate to being able to inflict damage, or have legitimate wincons. I understand that some movie characters appear more impressive than their source material counterparts, but I don't think Tien was one of the guys that benefited from this.

Videl reacted to and dodged attacks from Broly in M10. Future Trunkz tanked a punch to the face from Ten while smiling so I see no difference between their fight and the videl situation.
