Vegeta is always a step or two behind Goku.
He trains incredibly hard but is always easily outdone by Goku.
WHAT is Vegeta doing wrong.

Lets put you in the role of Master Of Martial Arts.


Aside from Whis Vegeta has never had a teacher, & after witnessing Goku's achievement of Ultra-Instinct & an attempt at reaching the same goal he gave up & accepted a different method of doing things.
But after witnessing Goku mastering the very same goal he achieved in less than 45minutes frustrates him to no end.
He gives up training under Whis & looks elsewhere.

He hears you are a much better teacher than Whis.
Well here's your chance to help him, train him to be better than Goku.


1. What would the name of your school be ?

2. Based on when you know of Vegeta & the DragonBall Universe.
In your own words, from your point of view, what is Vegeta doing wrong?

3. How would you go about teaching him & putting him on a path of improvement that takes him steps beyond Goku's shadow?

4. What would your method of training involve ?

-Goku is not as focused on raw power as Vegeta. There have been times he delayed his power level progress for a while so that he would learn techniques that would give him an advantage in a battle of equals (spirit bomb, instant transmission etc).
-Vegeta prefers training alone, thus not receiving the benefits of sparring (ex. not wanting to train with Trunks in spirit room).
-Vegeta does not allow his body to rest.

I fully agree with that.
Bulma should create some kinda training room where Vegeta could train against robots utilising various skills & techniques that could only be defeated by a different technique since their last defeat.

Or like first getting used to Super-Saiyan and mastering it before doing the actual training to get higher.

To me, Goku is quicker to adapt in the battle than Vegeta. Lile the above said, Vegeta focused on power a lot than skills. It's very rare for Vegeta to used a skills or adapt in the battle compare to Goku.

I don't know about that.
Vegeta does rely on power but he does have a keen sense of battle, he just doesn't have Goku's arsenal of techniques to fall back on.

Remember Vegeta aside from Whis has never been a student training under a martial arts teacher before.
He has no Kaioken, he has no spirit bomb, every technique Vegeta uses he created.

I think Vegeta has better adaptability power wise but only because he doesn't have Goku's arsenal of techniques.
